Do you ever feel inadequate? Worn out? Lonely? Stressed?

Yep, me too. I don't think we are alone. Every woman I know tries desperately to keep up with the demands of life. Most of those demands have been self-imposed by our picture of how we 'should be.'

I've been loving the book of Isaiah lately. It sings to my heart.

Today Isaiah 25:1 is ours:

"O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things, things planned long ago."

Ok, so we talked a few days ago about 'perfect peace' - today let's focus on 'perfect faithfulness.'

The Hebrew word for that is munah - which means faithfulness, steadiness, trustworthiness.

When I'm stressed, He is steady!

When I feel unable, He is full of ability!

When I am troubled, He is worthy of our trust!

Lord, you are all the things I am not. You have planned things for my life before the earth was formed. You have shown yourself over and over through miracles and wonders. Teach me to trust in your perfect faithfulness! I believe you ARE able to deliver me, to guide me, to complete the task you have begun in me. May you be glorified through this cracked vessel today. In Jesus' name, amen.
